This is the new recipe of the 15-herb Thai blend, and it tastes noticeably different from the original. Jewel Vine is still two thirds of it, but the supporting cast is spicier: star anise, cinnamon and clove for warmth, sappan wood for a red-brown colour, and Siam cardamom for a cool, menthol-like note on the nose. No tea leaf, so no caffeine.

Brewing
Use one teabag and roughly 200 ml of just-boiled water. Give it 2 to 3 minutes, then take the bag out. It is good hot, and good cold over ice. Where the pack’s instructions differ from ours, go with the pack.
