Osmanthus is prized across Asia for its fragrance — the tiny golden flowers are used to scent teas, syrups and desserts. Dried whole, they make a subtle, elegant infusion.
Taste & aroma
Delicately sweet and apricot-like, with notes of honey and ripe stone fruit. The cup is pale gold and very smooth, with none of the sharpness of a stronger flower tea.
How to serve
Steep 5–8 minutes. Beautiful on its own, and traditionally used to scent green or oolong tea — add a pinch to a pot of another tea to lift its aroma.
Naturally caffeine-free, so it can be enjoyed at any hour. Store in a sealed container, away from heat and direct sunlight.
Ingredients
Dried osmanthus flowers. Nothing else — no additives, flavourings, sweeteners or preservatives.
