Australia and New Zealand — temporarily paused
We are not currently able to ship to Australia or New Zealand. Both countries apply strict import restrictions to botanical and food products, and parcels have been held or destroyed at the border. Rather than take payment for tea that may never arrive, we have paused orders to both countries for the time being.
This is a temporary measure, not a permanent withdrawal — we are working on a compliant route and hope to reopen. If you would like to be told when we do, email service@teasofthailand.com and we will add you to the list and write to you. There is no need to check back or chase us.

1. Order processing and dispatch
Orders are normally prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. You will receive a shipment notification email with tracking details as soon as your parcel is dispatched.
2. Destinations and delivery estimates
We ship internationally to the countries available at checkout. Delivery times vary by destination and typically take 3–12 business days from the date of dispatch. Transit times can be affected by customs clearance, carrier delays and processing in the destination country.
These are estimates based on normal carrier performance, not guarantees. If your order has not arrived within 30 business days of dispatch, email service@teasofthailand.com with your order number and we will trace it.
3. Shipping costs and refunds of shipping
Shipping is free worldwide on every order, with no minimum spend. The shipping cost applicable to your order is shown at checkout before you pay.
Cancellation refunds: if you cancel within our 30-day return window we refund the basic outbound shipping cost in addition to the price of the goods. If you selected an expedited or non-standard method, we refund the cost of standard outbound delivery.
Return shipping: you are responsible for the cost of returning items for change of mind or cancellation. If an item is returned because it is faulty (under the Consumer Rights Act 2015), we cover or reimburse the return shipping cost.
4. Tracking
Orders are sent using tracked postal or courier services appropriate to the destination, and a tracking number is emailed to you when your order is dispatched. Tracking can take a few days to begin updating after a parcel leaves Thailand.
5. Customs, duties and taxes
THAITEAS LTD is registered in the UK but is not VAT-registered. No VAT is charged by us on your purchase.
For international shipments you are the importer of record and are responsible for any customs duties, import VAT, import taxes, clearance fees or inspection charges levied by the destination country. These are not included in our prices and are outside our control.
If import charges go unpaid and a parcel is held, returned or destroyed by customs as a result, we are not able to refund that order. If you are unsure what applies where you live, please check with your local customs authority before ordering.
6. Addresses
We ship to the address exactly as entered at checkout, so please check it carefully. If you spot a mistake, email us immediately — we can usually correct it before dispatch. Parcels returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address can be reshipped once the correct address is confirmed.
7. Damaged parcels
If your parcel or its contents arrive damaged, tell us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photographs, and we will put it right under our Refund and Returns Policy.
